Candidates who qualify and are selected for Civil Assistant Surgeon posts will be offered a monthly salary along with applicable allowances.

APMSRB Civil Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:
The selection of candidates for Civil Assistant Surgeon posts will be based on candidates’ performance in academic merit and contract service weightage. There will be no interview.
Academic Merit – 75% weightage (based on MBBS marks/CGPA).
Contract Service – 25% weightage:
- COVID-19 duty – 5 marks per 6 months
- Tribal area service – 2.5 marks per 6 months
- Rural area service – 2 marks per 6 months
- Urban area service – 1 mark per 6 months
