Selection Process:
Selection Process for Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA):
The selection process for Junior Secretariat Assistant also consists of three stages
Written Examination – The test consists of two papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2):
– Paper 1 is qualifying in nature (marks will not be counted for final selection).
– Paper 2 will determine the final merit list based on marks obtained.
Computer Proficiency Test – Candidates must pass both:
– English Typing: 35 w.p.m. OR Hindi Typing: 30 w.p.m.
– Excel, Word Processing & Key Depressions: Speed of 9000 KDPH (Key Depressions Per Hour) in English OR 5000 KDPH in Hindi.
Merit List – The final selection will be based on Paper 2 marks, while Paper 1 & Proficiency Test are only qualifying in nature.
Selection Process for Junior Stenographer:
Candidates applying for the Junior Stenographer post will undergo a three-stage selection process:
Written Examination – The exam will be OMR-based or Computer-Based Objective Type with questions in both English and Hindi (except for the English Language section).
Proficiency Test in Stenography – A skill test where candidates will be given 10 minutes of dictation in either English or Hindi at a speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m.).
Merit List – The final selection will be based on candidates’ performance in the written exam. Only those who qualify in the stenography test will be included in the merit list

Exam Pattern for Junior Stenographer Post:
Applicants for the Junior Stenographer position will take a written test, which will be either OMR-based or Computer-Based Objective Type. The questions will be available in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language & Comprehension section.
- Total Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes (extra time is given for eligible scribe candidates).
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
