Trump unveils ‘discounted’ reciprocal tariffs, India to be charged 26%

- Ahead of the announcement, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal visited Washington to discuss a potential bilateral trade agreement (BTA). Both nations aim to finalize a deal by the end of 2025, targeting $500 billion in bilateral trade by 2030.
