The application process requires payment of a processing fee, which is largely refundable to candidates who appear for the written test.

ISRO SDSC SHAR Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:
The ISRO SDSC SHAR Recruitment 2025 follows a structured selection process tailored for different posts to ensure that only the most capable candidates are selected.
- For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’: Written Test (Computer-Based) and Interview.
- For Technical/Scientific Assistant, Technician-B, Draughtsman-B: Written Test (Computer-Based) and Skill Test (Go/No-Go basis).
- For Nurse, Radiographer, Cook: Written Test and Skill Test.
- For Fireman ‘A’: Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- For Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’: Written Test and Skill Test.
ISRO SDSC SHAR Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern:
The written test will be conducted in Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’:
- Part A: Technical Subject (60-80 MCQs, 75-90 mins).
- Part B: Aptitude Test (15 MCQs, 30 mins).
- Part C: Descriptive (for some posts, 20 marks, 30 mins).
- There is negative marking of -1/3 for wrong answers in Part A.
For Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, etc.:
- 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be solved in 1.5 hours.
- There is a negative marking of -0.33 for each wrong answer.
