The NHM Maharashtra CHO Recruitment 2025 includes a total of 1974 vacancies. NHM Maharashtra CHO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria concerning educational qualification, age, and domicile.
Community Health Officer Age Limit:
The candidate’s age must be within the specified limit as of December 4, 2025.

Community Health Officer Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following degrees from a recognized institution:
- BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
- BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery)
- B.Sc Nursing
- B.Sc in Community Health
Note: BAMS/BUMS candidates must have completed their internship and possess a registration certificate from NMC/MCIM. Nursing candidates must have a valid registration with the Nursing Council.
Community Health Officer Domicile
The candidate must be a Domicile of Maharashtra. Candidates from the 865 villages in the Maharashtra-Karnataka border area, claimed by the Maharashtra government, are also eligible to apply.
Maharashtra CHO Salary 2025:
The selected candidates will undergo a 6-month Certificate Training. After successful completion of the training and an exit exam, they will be posted as Community Health Officers.
- Stipend during Training: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
- Salary after Training: A consolidated amount of Rs. 25,000/- per month + a performance-based incentive of up to Rs. 15,000/- per month.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee. The fee must be paid online during the application process.
