- The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has made its place among the top 25 institutions globally in the category of business and management studies.
- The Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and Calcutta are among the top 50 global institutions of business and management studies.
- If we talk about the Indian universities, the JawaharLal Nehru University has topped the list.
- For dentistry studies, the Saveetha Institute of medical and technical Sciences in Chennai has made its place among 25 institutions globally and ranked 24th.
- If we talk about the Asia region, India has secured second place in terms of the number of universities featured in the QS World University Ranking and the number was 69. China has topped the list with 101 featured universities.
- India secured the fourth position in terms of total number of ranked entities with 454, while China has 1041 ranked entities, Japan has 510 and South Korea has 499 ranked entities.
- The improvement in the Citations per paper indicator, India has witnessed 20% growth and in the International research network indicator, India has seen 16% growth.
- In engineering mineral and mining category, the India School of Mines University ranked 44th.
