SBI PO 2020 Exam Center:

While filling in the application form for SBI PO 2020, candidates will be given a choice to select the exam center of their choice. Candidates are allotted the center on the basis of their choice made and the preference in which they select the exam centre. However, due to unavailability of seats in the selected exam center, SBI can allot a different center to the candidate.

SBI PO 2020 Exam Pattern:

The SBI PO 2020 Exam will be conducted in 3 phases. The written exam is – Prelims & Mains which are conducted online, followed by an interview round. The structure of exams is as follows:

Stage-1: SBI PO Preliminary Examination

This is an online exam where candidates have to solve the question paper in hour for 100 marks. The test comprises of 3 sections. The section-wise distribution of the marks is given below:

SBI PO 2020 Eligibility

A candidate is required to fulfill basic two requirements to be eligible for SBI PO 2020 Exam. A candidate is required to fall into the required age limit for the exam. The minimum educational qualification for SBI PO 2020 exam is that of a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age of the applicant must not be more than 30 years as of 1st April 2020 and not less than 21 years as of April 2019 for SBI PO 2020 Exam. That means that the candidate must not be born before 02.04.1990 and must not be born after 02.04.1999.

What is the selection procedures of SBI PO 2020?

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three tiered process:
I. Preliminary Examination
II. Mains Examination
III. Group Exercises and Personal Interview
Final Selection-
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for preparing the final merit list for selection. Only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in Objective Test and Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list. The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately.

☛ Will there be an interview after the written result?

Yes, Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approximately) in Mains Examination of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the Group Exercise & Interview from the top of the merit list subject to a candidate scoring minimum qualifying score in aggregate.

☛ Will the exam conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?

Common Written Exam for SBI PO will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).

☛ What is the Application Fee?

Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.

☛ I am 20 years old. Can I sit for the exam?

No, You have to wait another year in order to appear for the exam. You must be at least 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on as on 01.04.2019

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?

There is no fixed cutoff for SBI Probationary Officer. It depends on the performance of the candidates each year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the Online Test.

☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?

There is negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.

☛ Is there any Bond to sign after selection?

Ans: Yes! Selected candidate has to sign a service bond of 2 Lac for a minimum period of 3 years. If a candidate resigns before teh completion of Bond duration, he/she has to pay the Bond Amount.

☛ Can I pay the Application Fee Offline?

Ans: No! All Payments are to be done Online. The application fees may be paid through Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, Mobile Wallets, Cash Cards, etc.
