• These tehsils are mostly belonged to Indo-Gangetic plains which contribute to more than a half agriculture production in India.
• According to the study Some tehsils in Rajasthan, Gujarat, central Maharashtra, and parts of Tamil Nadu that were historically dry were also getting wetter and they witnessed drastic change in the monsoon.
• There is a need to make region specific plans to better respond to climate change and better channel funds and resources.
