- The top committee found that the main reason for the problem was that a signal meant to activate an important valve in the engine’s oxidiser line did not reach the valve.
- This valve is very important because it helps fire the engine to move the satellite into a higher orbit.
- The committee said that a faulty or loose electrical connection was the most likely cause. At least one connection in the electrical connector, which affected both the main and backup lines, either became loose or failed, which stopped the signal from reaching the valve.
- NVS-02, the second satellite in the NVS series, was successfully placed into an elliptical transfer orbit on January 29, 2025, at 00:53 UT. However, it failed to move into the final circular orbit as planned.

The United States Imposes a 126% Tariff on Solar Imports from India
- The government of Donald Trump imposed a 126% tax (tariff) on solar cell imports from India.
- This decision came after an initial finding that Indian companies were receiving government support (subsidies) which was hurting American solar companies and breaking World Trade Organization rules.
- These tariffs were imposed on February 24 on India, Indonesia, and Laos after an investigation by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The investigation began after a complaint by the Alliance for American Solar Manufacturing and Trade, a group of major American solar companies.
