  1. Debilitating (adj.)

Meaning: making someone very weak and infirm. (दुर्बल)

Synonyms: weakening, enfeebling

Antonyms: strengthening, energizing

Sentence: He was hoping for a cure from his debilitating illness.

Meaning: to explain (something) as being the result of something else (मढ़ना)

Synonyms: ascribe, attribute, credit

Sentence: I impute his failure to laziness.

  1. Rambunctious (adj.)

Meaning: being rough or noisy in a high-spirited way (उधमी)

Synonyms: boisterous, raucous, noisy

Antonyms: orderly, staid, solemn

  1. Noisome (adj.)

Meaning: bad for the well-being of the body (हानिकर)

Synonyms: toxic, sickly, noxious

Antonyms: healthy, healthful

Sentence: it’s no fun having asthma and living in an area with noisome smog

  1. Posse (noun)

Meaning: a body of employees or servants who accompany and wait on a person (दल)

Synonyms: crew, group, suite

Sentence: I was surrounded by a posse of photographers.

  1. Inundation (noun)

Meaning: a great flow of water or of something that overwhelms (सैलाब)

Synonyms: overflow, deluge, torrent

Antonyms: drought, dribble, drip

Meaning: extreme greed for wealth or material gain. (लोभ)

Meaning: an attack made by troops coming out from a position of defense. (धावा)

Synonyms: foray, sally, charge
