  1. Discerning (adj.)

Meaning: Having or showing deep understanding and intelligent application of knowledge. (समझदार)

Synonyms: wise, prudent, insightful

Antonyms: unwise, dense, obtuse

Sentence: A discerning critic of modern art.

  1. Slanderous (adj.)

Meaning: Causing or intended to cause unjust injury to a person’s good name. (निंदात्मक)

Synonyms: libelous, libellous, erroneous

Antonyms: favorable, complimentary, appreciative

Sentence: Or you might plead that it was not slanderous because it was true.

  1. Erudite (adj.)

Meaning: Having or displaying advanced knowledge or education. (विद्वान)

Synonyms: literate, educate, scholarly

Antonyms: ignorant, uneducated, illiterate

Sentence: The most erudite people in medical research attended the conference.

  1. Melancholy (adj.)

Meaning: Causing unhappiness. (उदासी)

Synonyms: sad, depressing, mournful

Antonyms: happy, cheery, glad

Sentence: The music suited her melancholy mood.

  1. Dubious (adj.)

Meaning: Giving good reason for being doubted, questioned, or challenged. (संदिग्ध)

Synonyms: questionable, disputable, problematical

Antonyms: certain, indisputable, unquestionable

Sentence: Any letter bearing the signature of Geronimo would be of dubious authenticity, to say the least.

  1. Convoluted (adj.)

Meaning: Having many parts or aspects that are usually interrelated. (जटिल)

Synonyms: complicated, intricate, complicate

Antonyms: simple, plain, uncomplicated

Sentence: A convoluted explanation that left the listeners even more confused than they were before.

  1. Ample (adj.)

Meaning: Being more than enough without being excessive. (पर्याप्त)

Synonyms: plenty, plentiful, generous

Antonyms: minimal, scant, insufficient

Meaning: Being out of the ordinary. (असामान्य)

Meaning: A complete depletion of energy or strength. (थका हुआ)

Synonyms: exhaustion, fatigue, acollapse

Antonyms: refreshment, energy, rejuvenation

Sentence: Some parents say they feel frazzled most nights.
