‘Vocabulary’
- Propitious (adj.)
Meaning: giving or indicating a good chance of success; favorable. (अनुकूल)
Synonyms: favorable, auspicious, promising
Antonyms: bleak, unlikely, unpropitious
Sentence: It was not a propitious time to start a new business.
- Unnerve (verb)
Meaning: make (someone) lose courage or confidence. (असमर्थ करना)
Synonyms: demoralize, discourage, dishearten
Antonyms: fortify, strengthen, embolden
Sentence: The journey over the bridge had unnerved me.
- Frolic (noun)
Meaning: a playful action or movement. (उल्लास)
Synonyms: antic, caper, vivacious
Antonyms: depressed, dour, glum
Sentence: The children are having a frolic before bedtime.
- Deem (verb)
Meaning: regard or consider in a specified way. (समझना)
Synonyms: regard as, consider, judge
Antonyms: distrust, doubt, mistrust

- Lacerate (verb)
Meaning: tear or make deep cuts in (flesh or skin). (फाड़ना)

- Jubilation (noun)
Meaning: a feeling of great happiness and triumph. (आनंदोत्सव)
Synonyms: exultation, triumph, joy
Antonyms: agony, anguish, desolation

- Upbraid (verb)
Meaning: find fault with (someone); scold. (फटकारना)
Synonyms: reprimand, rebuke, reproach
Antonyms: approve, endorse, praise

- Doffs (verb)
Meaning: remove. (उतारना)
Synonyms: take off, put off, remove
Antonyms: put on, slip, throw

- Traduce (verb)
Meaning: speak badly of or tell lies about (someone) so as to damage their reputation. (बदनाम करना)
Synonyms: defame, slander, malign
Antonyms: glorify, honor, acclaim
- Quandary (noun)
Meaning: a state of perplexity or uncertainty over what to do in a difficult situation. (व्याकुलता)
Synonyms: dilemma, plight, predicament
Antonyms: breeze, cinch
Sentence: I was in a quandary about whether to go.
