Meaning: having or displaying advanced knowledge or education (विद्वान)

Synonyms: literate, educated, scholarly

Antonyms: ignorant, uneducated, illiterate

Sentence: The most erudite people in medical research attended the conference

  1. Embellish (verb)

Meaning: to add to the interest of by including made-up details (सुशोभित करना)

Synonyms: exaggerate, enhance, expand

Antonyms: minimize, understate, belittle

Sentence: The story of the comic marriage proposal was embellished as it passed from one generation to the next in the family

  1. Aroused (verb)

Meaning: to cause to stop sleeping (जगाना)

Synonyms: waked, woke, awakened

Antonyms: lulled, hypnotized, mesmerized

  1. Culpable (adj.)

Meaning: deserving reproach or blame (सदोष)

Meaning: a break in continuity (अंतराल)

Synonyms: interruption, interval, gap

Meaning: easily excited by nature (चिड़चिड़ा)

Synonyms: excitable, nervous, anxious

Antonyms: imperturbable, nerveless, unflappable

Meaning: yielding a profit (लाभदायक)

Synonyms: profitable, worthwhile, gainful

Antonyms: unprofitable, unfavorable, disadvantageous

  1. Dulcet (adj.)

Meaning: (especially of sound) sweet and soothing. (मधुर)

Synonyms: pleasant, sweet, melodious

Antonyms: sour, unmelodious, harsh

Sentence: We heard the dulcet tones of the sergeant, bowling at us to get on parade.

  1. Alluring (adj.)

Meaning: having an often mysterious or magical power to attract (आकर्षक)

Synonyms: attractive, charming, seductive

Antonyms: repulsive, repugnant, revolting

Sentence: Life in a big city is alluring for young people.

  1. Demure (adj.)

Meaning: not comfortable around people (संकोची)

Synonyms: shy, withdrawn, bashful

Antonyms: outgoing, extroverted, immodest

Sentence: The previously demure maiden began making some surprisingly shocking remarks
