‘Vocabulary’
- Debris (noun)
Meaning: scattered pieces of waste or remains. (मलबे)
Synonyms: detritus, refuse, waste
Antonyms: valuable, purity, neatness
Sentence: Several people were injured by flying debris in the explosion.
- Pegged (verb)
Meaning: fix or make fast with a peg or pegs. (आंकी)
Synonyms: fix, pin, attach
Antonyms: unbind, unfix, unlash
Sentence: Her body seemed pegged to the chair.
- Fiscal (adj.)
Meaning: relating to government revenue, especially taxes. (राजकोषीय)
Synonyms: tax, budgetary, revenue
Antonyms: nonfinancial
Sentence: My daughter lacks a sense of fiscal duty and rarely pays her bills on time.
- Befit (verb)
Meaning: be appropriate for; suit. (अनुकूल होना)
Synonyms: suitable for, suited to, fit for
Sentence: Such actions do not befit you.
- Conveyance (noun)
Meaning: the action or process of transporting someone or something from one place to another. (वाहन)
Synonyms: transportation, transport, carriage
Antonyms: stay in place
Sentence: The company relies on trains for the conveyance of goods.
- Rampart (noun)
Meaning: a defensive wall of a castle or walled city, having a broad top with a walkway and typically a stone parapet. (किले की दीवार)
Synonyms: defensive wall, embankment, earthwork
Antonyms: doorway, entrance, gate

- Disincentive (noun)
Meaning: a factor, especially a financial disadvantage, that tends to discourage people from doing something. (निस्र्त्साहित)
Synonyms: deterrent, discouragement, dissuasion
Antonyms: encouragement, goad, impetus
Sentence: In particular, it builds a powerful disincentive to save.
