‘Vocabulary’
- Filibuster (verb)
Meaning: a tactic for delaying or obstructing legislation by making long speeches (बाधा)
Synonyms: stonewall, blocking, hindrance
Sentence: Opponents of the bill threatened to filibuster its final stages.
- Jejune (adj.)
Meaning: very simple (बहुत सीधा)
Synonyms: naïve, simple, innocent
Antonyms: interesting, intriguing, exciting

- Facetious (adj.)
Meaning: given to or marked by mature intelligent humor (हासकर)
Synonyms: joyous, funny, Genial

- Deleterious (adj.)
Meaning: causing harm or damage. (हानिकारक)
Synonyms: dangerous, harmful, infectious
Antonyms: beneficial, advantageous, harmless

- Circumspect (adj.)
Meaning: having or showing a close attentiveness to avoiding danger or trouble (चौकन्ना)
Synonyms: cautious, careful, alert
Antonyms: careless, reckless, regardless
Sentence: She is very circumspect when dealing with strangers.
- Aversion (noun)
Meaning: a strong dislike or disinclination. (घृणा)
Synonyms: disgust, hatred, dislike
Antonyms: like, relish, appetite
Sentence: He has a strong aversion to dogs.
- Enervate (verb)
Meaning: cause (someone) to feel drained of energy or vitality; weaken. (कमज़ोर)
Synonyms: undermine, weaken, exhaust
Antonyms: stimulate, energize, invigorate
Sentence: The hot sun enervated her to the point of collapse.
- Gist (noun)
Meaning: the substance or essence of a speech or text. (निष्कर्ष)
Synonyms: conclusion, main point, inference

- Objurgate (verb)
Meaning: to express public or formal disapproval of (निंदा करना)
Synonyms: reprimand, punish, criticize
Antonyms: applaud, honor, endorse
Sentence: The old man objurgated his son.
- Incipient (adj.)
Meaning: in an initial stage; beginning to happen or develop. (प्रारंभिक)
Synonyms: nascent, first, preliminary
Antonyms: mature, adult, developed
Sentence: John’s incipient school problems were nipped in the bud.
