  1. Druthers (noun)

Meaning: the power, right, or opportunity to choose (विकल्प)

Synonyms: option, choice, preference

Antonyms: force, coercion

Sentence: If I had my druthers, I’d stay home tonight

  1. Sunder (verb)

Meaning: to set or force apart (अलग करना)

Synonyms: divide, separate, split

Antonyms: unite, join, unify

Sentence: Nothing can sunder our friendship.

  1. Weasel (adj.)

Meaning: a deceitful or treacherous person. (चालक आदमी)

Synonyms: scoundrel, wretch, serpent

Antonyms: innocent, saint

Sentence: He was a double-crossing weasel.

  1. Acolytes (noun)

Meaning: one who follows the opinions or teachings of another (अनुयायी)

Synonyms: adherents, converts, disciples

Antonyms: defectors, renegades, traitors

Sentence: He is flanked by his two acolytes, Asanga and his brother, Vasubandhu.

  1. Pomp (noun)

Meaning: ceremony and splendid display, especially at a public event. (वैभव)

Synonyms: ceremony, grandeur, pageantry

Antonyms: simplicity, severity

Sentence: The coronation was conducted with great pomp.

  1. Recessed (verb)

Meaning: to bring to a formal close for a period of time (स्थगित)

Synonyms: adjourned, prorogued, suspended

Antonyms: inaugurated, launched, opened

Sentence: The judge recessed the court for lunch.

  1. Amassing (verb)

Meaning: gather together or accumulate (a large amount or number of valuable material or things) over a period of time. (एकत्र करना)

Synonyms: gather, collect, assemble

Antonyms: separating, disbanding, disintegrating

Sentence: Starting from nothing he had amassed a huge fortune.

  1. Frail (adj.)

Meaning: (of a person) weak and delicate. (अनैतिक)

Synonyms: infirm, weak, feeble

Antonyms: mighty, powerful, rugged

Sentence: His frail hands could hardly hold a cup.

  1. Countenancing (verb)

Meaning: admit as acceptable or possible. (स्वीकार करना)

Synonyms: tolerate, permit, allow

Antonyms: disapproving (of), discountenancing, disfavoring

Sentence: I don’t countenance such behavior in children of any age.

  1. Perusal (noun)

Meaning: the action of reading or examining something. (अध्ययन)

Synonyms: reading, scrutiny, inspection

Antonyms: ignorance, neglect,

Sentence: I continued my perusal of the instructions.
