The New Era for Indian Railways through Vande Bharat trains

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently flagged off 9 Vande Bharat Express trains across 11 states via video conferencing.

After adding nine more high speed trains, the total count of Vande Bharat trains in operation across the country has now reached 34.

PM Modi delighted to flagged off the newly Vande Bharat Express trains. These newly launched trains will play a vital role in enhancing connectivity as well as boost tourism across India. The government is emphasized on multi-modal connectivity and ease of travel with an aim to minimize commuting time for individuals.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has stated that the current central government has extraordinarily transformed the Railway system.

Immediate benefit:

As the festive season is going to start, the newly launched Vande Bharat Express trains will provide a seamless travel experience to commuters and giving a faster and more convenient travel alternative.

The Vijayawada – MGR Chennai Central route train will be the first and fastest service on this particular route.

The launches of Vande Bharat trains recently include these states: Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.

The new trains that will be flagged off are:

1. in Rajasthan:

One of the Vande Bharat Express train is likely to enhance connectivity between Udaipur and Jaipur.

2. in Chennai:

The Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express is set to establish a crucial link between the religious towns of Tirunelveli and Madurai with Chennai, catering to pilgrims and travellers alike.

3. Hyderabad –Bengaluru:

One Vande Bharat Express trains has been launched that will connect Kacheguda in Hyderabad and Yesvantpur in Bengaluru.

4. Vijayawada- Chennai:

The recent launches of Vande Bharat trains include second train in Chennai. This train will operate between Vijayawada and Chennai which will benefit to the Tirupati Pilgrimage centre.

5. Bihar-WB Vande Bharat Express:

One Vande Bharat fleet will connect Patna Junction in Bihar and Howrah in West Bengal.

6. in Kerala:

Second Vande Bharat train from Kerala is launched to connect the Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

7. in Odisha:

This Vande Bharat train will connect Puri and Rourkela in Odisha.

8. Jharkhand- West Bengal Vande Bharat Express:

The capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi and Howrah in West Bengal will be connected to Vande Bharat Express.

9. in Gujarat Vande Bharat Express:

One Vande Bharat Express train has launched in Gujarat known as the Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express train.
