The TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2025 includes a total of 1100 vacancies distributed across various communal categories and special reservations. The category-wise distribution is as follows:

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment Eligibility 2025:

Candidates must carefully review the following eligibility criteria before applying.

Educational Qualification

Essential: Must possess an MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Additional Requirements:

Must be a registered practitioner under the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
Must have completed a House Surgeon (CRRI) tenure of not less than twelve months.
Must have registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before 21.11.2025.

TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Exam Pattern & Selection 2025:

The selection will be based on a two-part examination. There is no interview.

Note: The Tamil Language Test is qualifying in nature, and its marks are not considered for ranking. Differently Abled candidates are exempted from this test.
Final Merit: Will be prepared based on marks in the CBT + COVID Duty incentive marks (if applicable).
