Union health Ministry launched myCGHS App
Shri Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has recently launched an informative app namely myCGHS App for Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) beneficiaries to enhance the access to Electronic Health Records, information, and resources.

This app empowers the beneficiaries under the Central Government Health Scheme to seamless and convenient access to various Healthcare features by this app. It will be easy accessible and anyone can easily use this app for getting information about different and essential healthcare features.
The launch of myCGHS App highlighted the aim of the Government to make sure that the various technologies in the healthcare sector must be used to enhance the quality as well as the accessibility of healthcare services.

The myCGHS App is developed by the technical teams of the National Informatics Centre (NIC) Himachal Pradesh and NIC Health Team.
Important features:
The myCGHS app provides facilities to access various healthcare features such as booking as well as cancellation of online appointments, downloading CGHS card, downloading index card, accessing CGHS lab reports , checking medicine history, checking status of medical reimbursement claim, accessing referral details, locating nearby wellness centers, staying updated with news and highlights, locating nearby empanelled hospitals, labs, and dental units and finding the information of contact details of wellness centers and offices.
The app also facilitates users with security features such as 2 factor authentication and mPIN facility.
