6.3 magnitudes Earthquake in Nepal and India
A 6.3-magnitude earthquake strickled western Nepal sending shocks into neighboring India. As per the National Center for Seismology, the quake with the epicenter of the earthquake was 90 km south east of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand, bordering Nepal.
As per the local authority report, Earthquake hit around 2:00 am and transmitted tremors into northern India. The earthquake reportedly laid claim 6 people in the Doti District of Far-West Nepal. Some houses were damaged and local authorities are still assessing damages and casualties.
Second jolt of earthquake in 24 hours:
After the quake, it was repeated for the second time earthquake jolts felt in 24 hours in Nepal. The second quake has 4.5 magnitudes.
As per NCS data, the previous earthquake jolted Nepal from 155km northeast of Kathmandu at a depth of 100km.
Earthquake felt in India:
Severe tremors felt at around 1.57 am in Delhi and nearby areas in India.
Several locals in the national capital felt the tremors in the city and even recounted their experiences of the jolt they faced.
The auto driver got scared and off the ride from the auto. Passengers at the New Delhi railway station had also felt the jolts and scared to give any kind of reaction or move.
The videos on social media by residents posted including shaking light fixtures and shaking fences after many were rattled by the tremor.
Prime Minister of Nepal:
Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba uttered his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in a 6.3 magnitude earthquake.
As Nepal experienced an earthquake of 4.5 magnitudes on the early morning and felt second jolt, administration is continuously working for safe and secure people.
According to NCS, the earthquake happened 155km North East of Kathmandu, Nepal at a depth of 100 kilometres.
