Are Grace Marks Given in JAIIB? Complete Clarity for Candidates
IIBF explicitly states that JAIIB does not have a system of granting grace marks.
Because the exam is multiple-choice and results are evaluated by an IT-package (automated), there’s no mechanism for manual “extra marks.”
The only scenario where additional marks might be awarded is if a question in the exam is formally declared erroneous — in which case the marks corresponding to that question are granted to all eligible candidates.
👉🏻What that means for you
If you’re just short of passing, you should not expect any grace marks to “push” you over the threshold.
If IIBF finds a question was wrong and invalidates it (or awards marks for it), that’s the only exception — but that is not the same as “grace marks.”
The passing criteria remain as per the official rules: e.g. minimum marks per subject or aggregate as stipulated.
