BSF Group B & C Recruitment Physical Qualification:
For the post of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) &Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub-Inspector) :-
- Height: Male-165 Cms. (Relaxable by 5 Cms for Hill Tribes and Adhivasis), Female-Height shall not be less than 150 Cms
- Chest: Male-76-80 Cms. (Relaxable by 2 Cms for candidates below 20 years of age), Female-Not Applicable
- Weight: Weight corresponding to height
For the post of Constable (Storeman):-
- Height: Male-165 Cms, Female-Height shall not be less than 150 Cms
- Chest: Male-80 Cms. (Un-expanded) 85 Cms. (Expanded), Female-Not Applicable
- Weight: Weight corresponding to height
For the post of Sub Inspector (Works) and Junior Engineer /Sub Inspector (Electrical), Head Constable (Plumber), Head Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Generator Operator), Constable (Generator Mechanic), Constable (Lineman):-
- Height: Male-165 Cms. (Relaxable by 5 Cms for Hill Tribes and Adhivasis), Female–157 Cms
- Chest: Male-76 Cms. (Un-expanded) 81 Cms. (Expanded) (Relaxable by 2 Cms for candidate below 20 years of age), Female-Not Applicable
- Weight: Male-Proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards, Female-According to height but not less than 46 Kgs

BSF Group B & C Recruitment Application Fee:
For BSF Air Wing (Group-C) & BSF Engineering Setup (Group-C):
- For All Candidates: Rs. 100/-
- For SC/ ST/ BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen: Nil
- However, RS. 40/- plus taxes = Rs. 47.2/- will be charged from every candidate as “Service Charge” by the CSC (Common Service Centre).
- Payment Mode: Through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Nearest authorised Common Service Centre
For BSF Engineering Setup (Group-B):
- For All Candidates: Rs. 200/-
- For SC/ ST/ BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen: Nil
- However, RS. 40/- plus taxes = Rs. 47.2/- will be charged from every candidate as “Service Charge” by the CSC (Common Service Centre).
- Payment Mode: Through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Nearest authorised Common Service Centre
