Google celebrating its 25 years of journey

Google has dedicated a quirky doodle for celebrating its 25th anniversary on the homepage for itself today. The GIF shows all of Google’s old logos, ending with the current one in which the two ‘o’s are replaced with the number ’25’.

The tech giant company Google was officially established on September 27, 1998. The journey of a tech giant company began with a meeting of doctoral students Sergert Brin and Larry Page at Stanford University’s computer science program in the late 1990s.

Both the ambitious techies were working towards making the World Wide Web (WWW) more accessible to people and started developing a prototype for a better search engine. They started their work from their dorm rooms and shifted their operations to a rented garage after sometime which became Google’s first office.

Journey of 25 years:

Since 1998 there are many things including company’s logo have been changes with time. The company has not change the mission till date which organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

There are currently billions of people from all over the globe who use Google to search, connect, work, play, and so much more!

Concept of doodle:

The concept of doodle was invented by as the founders with an intension to show their attendance at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert before the company’s beginning.

The first doodle was a stick figure drawing behind the 2nd “o” in the word, Google and the logo comically showed that the founders were “out of office”.

Till date Google’s team of illustrators and engineers made more than 5,000 doodles.
