IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam Analysis, Review: 7th Oct 2018
IBPS RRB Clerk Mains 2018 Recruitment Exam is over, Now it’s time for the much awaited IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam Analysis & Review. Many students have appeared for this exam today and this brings them to a step closer in their journey of getting a Job in govt. sector. Without wasting any moment, let’s get straight to the analysis for which you are all waiting for. Overall the exam was of a moderate level. Students were expecting high level Quant and Reasoning questions as asked in SBI and IBPS but dear students IBPS came with a sigh of relief and the level of Numerical Ability and Reasoning was easy to moderate. But G.A popped up with a surprise and was flooded with Static and Banking questions. Normally in Officers examination such type of questions have found a permanent position but in Clerical it was undigestable for students. Computer was found easy by most of the students..
IBPS RRB Clerk Mains 2018 exam had 5 sections in the objective test of 200 marks – Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness for a composite duration of 120 minutes.

NUMERICAL ABILITY( Difficult )
This section had 40 questions for 50 marks. The level of Numerical Ability was moderate and there were 4 sets of Data Interpretation Questions. Following were the types of DI:

- Caselet
- Missing
- Caselet
The questions of Data Sufficiency were also there.

This section had 40 questions for 40 marks. The level of Hindi Language section was easy to moderate. There was one Reading Comprehension consisting 10 questions which included 5 vocab based questions of antonym and synonym.

REASONING (Moderate)
The level of reasoning was Moderate. Following were the types of puzzles asked:
- Parallel Row (4 persons each with their ages)
- Circular (6 persons facing inside belongs to different city)
- Comparison Based (GM,AGM, Manager etc post were given in ascending order persons belongs to different department and city)
- 6 Jar have different volume (Volume in liter was given)
- Month date based (3 months 9 persons date was randomly arranged according to conditions. month are January, June, December)

GENERAL AWARENESS ( Moderate)
Most of the questions were from banking, Static and current affairs. There were also few questions from basic banking awareness and surprised students a bit as the level was a bit high.
COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE (Easy)
The level of this section was very basic most of the questions were from basics of Software, Internet, Network, Word etc.
