IBPS SO Prelims Exam Analysis, Review 2018: 30th December- Shift 1

IBPS has conducted its online examination for the post of Specialist Officers (SO) Prelims today, and the first shift is over now. This Computer Based Test was conducted by IBPS to select candidates for the Specialist Officers posts, who will be further appointed as SO in the various Banks. After IBPS SO Prelims 2018 Shift-I is over, aspirants who will be appearing in the next banking exams must be eager to know about the Examination’s level, types of questions asked, all of which can help them to appear in the same.

This article will give you the opportunity to analyze the IBPS SO Prelims question asked in the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. After critical analysis and review given by candidates who have appeared for the first shift, we would say that this year’s IBPS SO Prelims Shift-1 examination was of Moderate level.
 

IBPS SO Prelims Analysis: Overall 

The Online Examination constituted of an objective test which had three sections namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and there were 50 questions for 50 marks in Reasoning, 50 questions for 50 marks in Quantitative Aptitude and 50 questions for 25 marks in the English Language. The objective test had 40 minutes in each section.

English Language (Moderate)
The level of this section was moderate in comparison with the rest of the examination. There were 2 sets of reading comprehensions, one was based on e-commerce and the other one was based on millennials and jobs. They also included around 4 vocabulary based questions of synonyms and antonyms.
