Indian Navy’s fighter jet crashed in Goa
Indian Navy’s fighter jet called MiG 29K has crashed over the sea off Goa. The incident happened while the jet was at routine sortie over the sea off Goa and developed a technical malfunction at the time of returning to base and crashed over the sea.
The pilot made quick decision and ejected safely and even has been recovered in a swift Search and Rescue Operation. A Board of Inquiry (BoI) has been set up to investigate the cause of the incident. Now as per the official information the pilot has recovered and is stable.

History of MiG 29:
The Mikoyan MiG-29 is a twin-engine fighter aircraft which was designed in Russia. It has 1430 km ranges and 2446 km/h top speed.
The Navy ordered a Board of Inquiry (BoI) to investigate the cause of the incident. MiG-29K fighter aircraft is only operated by the Indian Navy in the world.
MiG-29k was acquired from Russia along with Admiral Gorshkov that has been renamed INS Vikramaditya in India.
