Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2025 must meet conditions related to age, education, nationality, and local language skills. All eligibility is calculated as on 01 August 2025.

IOB Apprentice 2025 Pay Scale:
This apprenticeship offers a competitive stipend designed to support you as you learn. The monthly stipend varies based on the location of your posting, reflecting the cost of living in different areas. This is not just a training program; it’s a paid opportunity to build your career. The stipend is a fixed monthly payment, and apprentices are not eligible for other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA) or House Rent Allowance (HRA) that are available to permanent bank employees. However, this stipend is a significant financial stepping stone. The structure is as follows:
- Metro Branches: ₹15,000/- per month
- Urban Branches: ₹12,000/- per month
- Semi-Urban / Rural Branches: ₹10,000/- per month
It’s important to note that for candidates selected under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a Government of India subsidy of ₹4,500 is part of this stipend and will be credited directly to the apprentice’s bank account via DBT mode. The remaining amount will be paid by the bank. This program provides a stable income while you gain invaluable experience, making it a financially sound choice for aspiring bankers.

The selection for the IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2025 consists of multiple stages designed to assess candidates’ knowledge, language skills, and eligibility. Candidates must clear each stage to move forward in the recruitment process.

The online written exam for the Indian Overseas Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025 consists of four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer or Subject Knowledge. The exam comprises 100 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark.
