JSSC ANM Selection Process 2025 :

The selection process for the JSSC ANM position is unique and multi-faceted. It is designed to evaluate candidates not just on their theoretical knowledge but also on their academic background, technical skills, and practical experience. The final merit list will be prepared based on a total of 150 marks.

The selection process includes the following stages:

  1. Main Examination (OMR/CBT Based)
  2. Merit List Preparation based on Marks from Exam, Academics, and Experience
  3. Document Verification

Here is the detailed breakdown of how the 150 marks are calculated:

Main Examination (50 Marks):
  • A single-stage exam will be conducted.
  • It will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • The duration of the exam will be 1 hour (60 minutes).
  • Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • The language of the exam will be both Hindi and English.
Technical Qualification (ANM Training) (10 Marks):
  • 60% and above: 10 marks
  • 45% to less than 60%: 7 marks
  • Less than 45%: 5 marks
Academic Qualification (40 Marks):
  • Matriculation (10th): Maximum 20 marks
  • Intermediate (10+2): Maximum 20 marks
  • The marks for both will be awarded on a slab basis similar to the technical qualification.
Work Experience (50 Marks):
  • This is applicable only for those who have worked on a contract basis in government hospitals in Jharkhand.
  • You will get 5 marks for each completed year of service, up to a maximum of 50 marks (i.e., for 10 years of experience).

Finally, a merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained out of 150. Candidates who make it to the merit list will be called for Document Verification.
