The 75th republic day witnessed a historical moment when all women tri services contingent marched on Kartavya path. This happened for the first time when women personnel from CRPF, the BSF, and the SSB performed dangerous but brave stunts on motorcycles.

5.Presidential carriage returned after 40 years

On the 75th republic day,the historic presidential carriage, a colonial era open horse-drawn buggy, returned after 40 years. Indian president Droupadi Murmu and Chief Guest of the 75th republic day Emmanuel Macron travelled in presidential carriage from Rashtrapati bhavan.

6.French contingent joined republic day parade

This year republic day parade witnessed a powerful and empathetic French contingent consisting of 95 member marching parade with two Rafale fighters and an Airbus A330 multi-role tanker transport aircraft from France.

7.Saree Extravaganza on 75th republic day

The Culture Ministry has performed a saree exhibition in which sarees came from various Indian states and union territories showcasing Indian diversifying cultural beauty in 75th republic day making it more memorable.
