There are four triangles given in question on which we apply some operation individually on each triangle and then convert it into solution. We have to answer the questions from the triangle which comes after the operation applied on the given triangle.

For example-

  • For triangle 1- if the total number of letters between given two letters in the triangle 1 is less than two then change each letter to opposite letter according to English alphabetical series
  • For triangle 2- if the difference between given two digits is less than 2 then change the eachx digit to next digit.
  • For triangle 3- if the total number of letters between given two letters is more than five then change the each letter to next letter according to English alphabetical series.
  • For triangle 4- if the difference between given two digits is more than 3 then change each digit to previous digit.

Note- If the above condition are not applied then we write the digit and letter as it is in solution part.

Based on the above example solve the given question.

  1. How many meaningful words are formed by all the letters combining from triangle 1 and triangle 3 after applying the operation?

(a) None

(b) Two

(c)  Three

(d) One

(e) Four

Answer & Explanation
Ans. a
Exp.
The following steps are followed in the given question-

1- The total numbers of letters in triangle 1 between given letters m and o is one so according to the given condition each letter is changed to opposite letter according to English alphabetical series. m and o are changed to n and l respectively.

2-The difference between given two digits is 1 which is less than 2 so according to the given condition each digit is changed to next digit hence 3 and 2 are changed to 4 and 3 respectively.

3- The total numbers of letters in triangle 3 between given letters e and l is six so according to the given condition each letter is changed to next letter according to English alphabetical series hence e and l are changed to f and m respectively.

4- The difference between given two digits is 5 which is more than 3 so according to the given condition each digit is changed to previous digit hence 2 and 7 are changed to 1 and 6 respectively.

The final solution is given below-
