NIPL signed an agreement with the Bank of Namibia for UPI like system
The Bank of Namibia and the global arm of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL) have signed an agreement together in which the NIPL is going to support the Institution to develop the Unified Payment Interface (UPI)-like system for Namibia.
By taking support from the experience and technology in India, Namibia is going to develop an instant payment system like UPI in India. From this, Namibia can boost and modernize its financial system.
