Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed his two-day visit to his home State Gujarat by holding a nine-km massive road show from Ahmedabad airport to the BJP headquarters named ‘Kamalam” in Gandhinagar on March 11.

This was the first road show after the BJP’s victory in the Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur.

Road show:

Mr. Modi experienced road shows two day which were organized by the State BJP unit in which several lakh people are expected to participate while over 1,000 artists will perform live along the route.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met the top functionaries of the State unit to take store of the preparations for the Assembly polls to be held later this year.

Addressed Convention in Ahmedabad:

He addressed a convention of elected representatives of panchaayti raj institutions in Ahmedabad, where around more than 75,000 representatives from village panchayat and district panchayat members and other delegates has attended the event.

‘Annual Sports event Khel Mahakumbh’:

During his visit, the Prime Minister has inaugurated the State government’s 11th annual sports event ‘Khel Mahakumbh’ at Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Here it is noted that the annual sports event Khel Mahakumbh was started by then CM, Narendra Modi in 2010.

He gave his speech at the inaugural event and gave direction and vision to youth in the world of sports.

He addressed the first convocation of Rashtriya Raksha University which situated at Lavad in Gandhinagar district as its chief guest.
