RRB job 2019 | 4 lac Vacancies to be announced in 2019 by Railway
Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal has put an end to all your worries by promising to give jobs with the announcement of 2.25-2.50 lakh additional vacancies, the recruitment process for which will be completed by 2021. The recruitment process for 1.50 lakh vacancies that were announced previous year is already underway. Hence, as per Railways, they will be providing jobs to a total of approx 4 lakh people. This news comes ahead of General Elections 2019 and after the centre recently announced 10% Reservation quota for Economically poor people.
Also, the 10% reservation quota will be applicable in all these jobs giving a chance to the people who are economically poor and are not able to cope up with the high competition for government jobs. As mentioned in the esteemed newspapers such as Amar Ujala and The Indian Express, the Railway Board will advertise for the first phase of the recruitment in February 2019 and the second likely in May 2020. It also stated that apart from the benefits credited to the reserve category candidates, the economically poor candidates will also get benefits according to 10 per cent reservation.
First Stage: For 131428 posts, the process for which will begin in February-March 2019 and final allotment will be made by April-May 2020.
Second Stage: For 99000 posts, the process for which will begin by May-June 2020 and final selection will be made by July-August 2021.
The final category wise number of vacancies as per the reservation system is as follows-OBC- 62485
Hence, aspirants who were not able to make it through the previous years need not lose hope as more than 2 lakh vacancies are on its way. You just need to focus and maintain consistency in your studies working hard towards your goal. A great opportunity is knocking at your door, try not to let it go.
