Direction (1 -5): Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.
Ten persons of a same family i.e. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X and Y are sitting around a rectangular table in such a way that three of them are sitting at each of the longer side of the table and faces towards the centre and two of them are sitting on each of the shorter side of the table and faces away from the centre. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
P who is father of R sits third to the right of Q’s daughter-in-law. W sits at the immediate left of Q’s father in law who is married with V. P is the only child of V who sits opposite to the one who sits at the immediate left of R’s wife. X is son of U who is a female member. S is paternal aunt of X and sits second to the right of Q’s only sibling. W sits only with Y who is child of U. Y is not nephew of S. R has more than one child. W is not married and sits opposite to R. R’s spouse sits on the same side with R. P’s wife sits at the immediate left of Y sibling.
Seven persons A1, B2, C3, D4, E5, F6, and G7 are sitting around an eight seated rectangular table in such a way that four seats are placed at each of the corners of the table and the other four seats are placed on the middle side of the table where one seat is remained vacant but not necessarily in the same order. The one who sits at the corner faces opposite to the center of the table and the one who sits at the middle side faces towards the center of the table. Persons sitting on opposite sides are exactly opposite to each other. All of them like different celebrities viz. Salman, Sara, Tara, Ananya, Sidharth, Varun, and Alia but not necessarily in the same order.
A1 does not sit near to D4. There are two persons sit between B2 and the one who likes Sidharth when counted to the left of B2. A1who likes Salman is an immediate neighbor of the one who likes Sidharth. Immediate seats of B2 are not vacant. The one who likes Varun sits 2nd to the right of the one who likes Alia and 3rd to the right of the one who likes Tara. The one who likes Sara sits diagonally opposite to the one who likes Salman. B2 does not sit at any of the corner sides of the table. D4 sits opposite to the one who likes Ananya. The one who likes Ananya is not an immediate neighbor of the one who likes Sidharth. No one sits between C3 and G7. Only one person sits between E5 and F6 when counted to the right of E5. G7 does not like Varun. A1 is not an immediate neighbor of E5.
Solutions
P who is father of R sits third to the right of Q’s daughter-in-law. W sits at the immediate left of Q’s father in law who is married with V. P is the only child of V who sits opposite to the one who sits at the immediate left of R’s wife.

R has more than one child. W is not married which means W is sibling of Q and R is husband of U and T is husband of V. So, the final arrangement is :

For sitting arrangement:
From the given statements, W sits only with Y who is child of U. W is not married and sits opposite to R. S is paternal aunt of X and sits second to the right of Q’s only sibling. W sits at the immediate left of Q’s father in law who is married with V. R’s spouse sits on the same side with R.

P who is father of R sits third to the right of Q’s daughter-in-law. P is the only child of V who sits opposite to the one who sits at the immediate left of R’s wife.

P’s wife sits at the immediate left of Y sibling. So, the final arrangement is :

A1 who likes Salman is an immediate neighbor of the one who likes Sidharth. The one who likes Sara sits diagonally opposite to the one who likes Salman. From these conditions Case 1 is ruled out now and one more possibility was added i.e. Case 3a. D4 sits opposite to the one who likes Ananya. The one who likes Ananya is not an immediate neighbor of the one who likes Sidharth. A1 does not sit near to D4.

The one who likes Varun sits 2nd to the right of the one who likes Alia and 3rd to the right of the one who likes Tara. From this condition Case 2 and Case 3a are eliminated. No one sits between C3 and G7. Only one person sits between E5 and F6 when counted to the right of E5. G7 does not like Varun. A1 is not an immediate neighbor of E5.
