SBI Engagement of Apprentices Recruitment 2019:

State Bank of India proposes to engage apprentices in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Applications are invited from Indian Citizens meeting the following qualification and other parameters for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice
Act 1961 (as amended from time to time) as detailed below:

LOCATION and TENTATIVE NO. OF TRAINING SEATS:

The districtwise break-up of number of seats where training will be given is under:

Haryana (150): Hisar-31, Karnal-36, Kurukshetra-23, Rohtak-22 and Sirsa-38;
Punjab (400): Amritsar-31, Barnala-40, Bhatinda-45, Gurdaspur-40, Jalandhar-28, Ludhiana-32, Moga-40, Mohali-30, Muktsar-31, Patiala-37 and Sangrur-46;
Himachal Pradesh (150): Bilaspur-27, Kangra-29, Kullu-21, Nahan-36, Rampur-37

The number of training seats mentioned above is provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the Bank.
Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is governed by Once Memorandum no. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019 of Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance & Pensions, Government of India.

and is subject to the Income & Asset certificate being verified through the proper channels.”
Benefit of reservation under EWS category can be availed upon production of an ‘Income and Asset Certificate’ issued by a Competent Authority on the format
prescribed by Government of India.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Important Dates

Commencement of online registration – 17th September 2019
Closure of online registration – 6th October 2019
Tentative date of downloading call letter: 15th October 2019 onwards
Date of online examination – 23rd October 2019

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Age

The age limit (as on 31st August 2019) of SBI Apprentice is as follows:

Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 28 years

The relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per GOI guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Educational Qualification

Candidates who wish to apply for SBI Apprentice 2019 must be a graduate from a recognised university/institute.

Stipend & Duration of training:

The duration of training is 1 Year. The apprentices are eligible for stipend of 70% of semi-skilled labour wages as applicable in the respective states as per Apprentices Act or Rs.8000 per month whichever is higher. The trainee is not eligible for any other allowances.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Selection Procedure

Selection for the posts of Apprentice would be done on the basis of online written test & local language test.
