SECL Recruitment Vacancy Details 2025:

A total of 595 vacancies are available for two technical and supervisory posts. The category-wise distribution is as follows:

SECL Mining Sirdar and Jr. Overman 2025 – Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates applying for the SECL Recruitment 2025 must meet the following eligibility criteria as of 30.09.2025.

SECL Mining Sirdar and Jr. Overman Age Limit

The notification is for existing departmental employees, hence standard age limits do not apply. Eligibility is based on service criteria.

SECL Educational Qualification & Experience

Designation Minimum Qualification Experience Required
Mining Sirdar T&S Grade-C Valid Mining Sirdarship, First Aid & Gas Testing certificates. 3 Years of experience working in Underground Mines.
Jr. Overman T&S Grade-C Diploma in Mining Engineering (03 years) with valid Gas Testing & First Aid certificates. 01 Year of post-diploma practical training in coal mines.

SECL Mining Sirdar and Jr. Overman Salary 2025:

Selected candidates will be appointed in Technical & Supervisory Grade-C. The pay and allowances will be as per the rules of the company for T&S Grade-C posts. The pay scale is subject to the company’s regulations and the Coal India Limited cadre scheme.

SECL Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be based solely on a written examination.

Stage Criteria / Details
Written Test 100 marks, OMR-based, 100 Multiple Choice Questions (No negative marking).
Sections Mental Ability/Quantitative Aptitude (20 marks), General Awareness & CIL/SECL Knowledge (20 marks), Subject Knowledge (60 marks).
Qualifying Marks General: 35%; SC/ST: 30%.
Merit List Prepared based on marks in the written test.
Tie-Breaker Date of Appointment, then Date of Birth (Older candidate preferred), then alphabetical order of name.
