♦Educational Qualification:

Educational Qualification for Tamilnadu Pollution Control Board Recruitment 2020 for Assistant Engineers is as follows,

Candidates should possess knowledge of Tamil

Assistant Engineer:

• Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Possess a Master Degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• M. Tech in Environmental Science and Technology awarded by Anna University or
• M.Tech. Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals awarded by Anna University
• M.E. in Environmental Management awarded by Anna University

Environmental Scientist:

Passed Master’s Degree in Science in any one of the following disciplines

• Chemistry
• Biology
• Zoology
• Environmental Chemistry
• For Environmental Science
• Environmental Toxicology
• Microbiology
• Marine Biology
• Bio-Chemistry
• Analytical Chemistry
• Applied Chemistry
• Botany

Assistant (Junior Assistant):

• Passed Bachelor’s Degree
• Passed Diploma / Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum 06 months.

Typist:

• Passed Bachelor’s Degree
• Passed Government Technical Examination in Typewriting Higher Grade in English and Tamil
• Possess a Diploma / Certificate in Computer Course for a period of minimum of 06 months.

♦Age Limit: 

• Minimum Age – 18 years
• Maximum Age – 30 years (SC, ST 35yrs)

♦Salary (Pay Scale)

• Assistant Engineer- Rs. 37,700 – 1,19,500/- (Level 20)
• Environmental Scientist- Rs. 37,700 – 1,19,500/- (Level 20)
• Assistant (Junior Assistant)- Rs.19,500 – Rs.62,000/- (Level 8)
• Typist-Rs.19,500 – Rs.62,000/- (Level 8)

♦Fees:

• Gen/ OBC-500/-
• SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen- 250/-
