- After allegations that the question paper for the NEET-UG 2026 exam held on May 3 was leaked, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said it is aware of the action being taken by the Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) regarding the alleged irregularities.
- The alleged irregularities are linked to a “guess paper” that was circulated before the exam and reportedly contained many questions similar to the actual paper.
- Vishal Bansal, Additional Director General of the Rajasthan Police SOG, said the agency is checking whether the circulation of the material was connected to organised crime.
- According to Rajasthan Police, the alleged guess paper had been spreading among students for nearly one month before the exam through photocopies and word of mouth.
- Investigators also found signs that the material was shared digitally through WhatsApp chats among aspirants.
- Bansal said the 150-page PDF contained 410 questions that matched questions appearing in the final examination paper.
- So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
