• It has been seen since ages that a silent woman who has some undesirable traits such as intellectual curiosity, autonomy and assertiveness, the society gives her the tag of ‘madness’.
• In patriarchal society, the women are only known for reproductive roles and docaline submission which take them to various kinds of abuses and violence that have been normalized and justified in this society.
• While much research and studies around the world have cleared it that the relation between homelessness and violence is a two way relation, we need to take that matter more closely.
• Instead of starting with root cause problems of Women’s mental health, we need to understand the complexities around Women’s mental health.
• To combat this issue more effectively we need the involvement of more professionals, innovative research and also the involvement of those women who have experienced violence.
