- More than 3,700 candidates who had already completed biometric registration were unable to take the exam and left the centres.
- According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), a technical issue at some examination centres delayed the start of the first shift.
- The NTA acknowledged the inconvenience and said it understood the stress faced by students because of the disruption.
- The agency has directed TCS iON, the technical service provider, to conduct a detailed investigation and submit a report on what caused the problem.
- TCS iON is a unit of Tata Consultancy Services.
- Several posts on social media claimed that the examination was delayed by three to four hours at some centres.
- Videos showing students protesting against the organisers also circulated online.

- In an official statement, TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director K. Krithivasan said that a brief technical issue had delayed the morning shift by about two hours.

- He arrived in Gaya on Saturday morning along with a high-level delegation that included several Cabinet Ministers and business leaders as part of his five-day visit to India.
- After reaching the airport, President Hlaing was welcomed by Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain and State Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. He was also given a ceremonial Guard of Honour.
- Vijay Kumar Sinha said that President Hlaing’s visit to the holy land of Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment, is an important step towards strengthening the long-standing cultural, historical, and spiritual relationship between India and Myanmar.
- In a post on X, Mr. Sinha, who also serves as Bihar’s Agriculture Minister, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, cooperation between India and Myanmar in areas such as cultural exchanges, Buddhist heritage, and shared development is growing stronger with time.
