• As Isro chairman S Somanath said, it was their immense hard work, besides the prayers of 140 billion Indians and the support of friendly space agencies such as Nasa and European Space Agency.
• The PM congratulated them and asked them to prepare for future missions.
• When Team Isro led by Somanath entered the media center, people gave them a standing ovation.
• People distributed sweets and showered flowers on Isro scientists outside the control room.
