  1. Insatiable (adj.)

Meaning: incapable of being satisfied (अतोषणीय)

Synonyms: inappeasable, inextinguishable, insatiate

Antonyms: appeasable, extinguishable, satiable

Sentence: Most children have an insatiable desire for knowledge.

  1. Opprobrious (adj.)

Meaning: (of language) expressing scorn or criticism. (अपमानजनक)

Synonyms: abusive, vituperative, derogatory

Antonyms:  respectful, civil, courteous

Sentence: An opprobrious attack on the alleged corruption in the police department.

  1. Skulduggery (noun)

Meaning: underhanded or unscrupulous behavior; trickery. (छल)

Synonyms: trickery, swindling, fraudulence

Antonyms: artlessness, sincerity, candidness

Sentence: He is serving a prison sentence for financial skulduggery.

  1. Desolate (verb)

Meaning: make (a place) bleakly and depressingly empty or bare. (अकेला)

Synonyms: devastate, ravage, ruin

Antonyms: bright, cheerful, cheering

Sentence: The house stands desolate and empty.

  1. Riveting (adj.)

Meaning: completely engrossing; compelling. (दिलचस्प)

Synonyms: enthralling, fascinating, gripping

Antonyms: boring, drab, dull

Sentence: His story makes riveting listening.

  1. Dally (verb)

Meaning: act or move slowly. (विलंब करना)

Synonyms: dawdle, delay, loiter

Antonyms: hurry, hasten

Sentence: Don’t dally along the way! We haven’t got much time.

  1. Quibble (noun)

Meaning: a slight objection or criticism about a trivial matter. (वक्रोक्ति)

Synonyms: minor criticism, trivial objection, argument

Antonyms: commendation, compliment, plaudit

Sentence: Let’s not quibble over minor details.

  1. Furtively (adv.)

Meaning: in a way that attempts to avoid notice or attention; secretively. (चोरी से)

Synonyms: secretively, sneakily, stealthily

Antonyms: openly, publicly

Sentence: She opened the door and looked furtively down the hall.

  1. Heckling (verb)

Meaning: interrupt (a public speaker) with derisive or aggressive comments or abuse. (चिल्लाना)

Synonyms: jeer, taunt, disrupt

Sentence: The ceremony was disrupted by unprecedented heckling and slogan-chanting.

  1. Fallible (adj.)

Meaning: capable of making mistakes or being erroneous. (दोषक्षम)

Synonyms: error-prone, erring, errant

Antonyms: faultless, flawless, impeccable

Sentence: This method is more fallible than most because it depends on careful and accurate timing.
