  1. Pernicious (adj.)

Meaning: having a harmful effect, especially in a gradual or subtle way. (हानिकारक)

Synonyms: harmful, damaging, destructive

Antonyms: anodyne, benign, harmless

Sentence: The business may be troublesome, but idleness is pernicious.

  1. Feisty (adj.)

Meaning: feeling or displaying eagerness to fight (लड़ाकू)

Synonyms: aggressive, agonistic, argumentative

Antonyms: nonaggressive, nonbelligerent, pacific

Sentence: He’s a pretty feisty kid, isn’t he?

  1. Erudition (noun)

Meaning: the quality of having or showing great knowledge or learning; scholarship. (पांडित्य)

Synonyms: learning, scholarship, knowledge

Antonyms: ignorance, illiteracy, illiterateness

Sentence: His erudition was apparently endless.

  1. Asseveration (noun)

Meaning: the solemn or emphatic declaration or statement of something. (दृढ़ वचन)

Synonyms: affirmation, assertion, avouchment

Antonyms: disavowal, contradiction, denial

Sentence: You can forget the asseveration of past but want to remember own of sincerely.

  1. Commensurate (adj.)

Meaning: corresponding in size or degree; in proportion. (अनुरूप)

Synonyms: equivalent, equal, corresponding

Antonyms: disproportionate

Sentence: Six yards is commensurate with eighteen feet.

  1. Scrounge (verb)

Meaning: to get with great difficulty (प्राप्त करना)

Synonyms: earn, procure, wrest

Sentence: I managed to scrounge some money off my dad.

  1. Preeminence (noun)

Meaning: the fact of surpassing all others; superiority. (प्रमुखता)

Synonyms: excellency, superiority, eminence

Antonyms: inferiority, mediocrity, worthlessness

Sentence: No one doubt the preeminence of my father in financial matter.

Meaning: complain pettily; grumble. (बड़बड़ाना)

  1. Appropriacy (noun)

Meaning: the quality of being suitable or proper in the circumstances. (उपयुक्तता)

Synonyms: suitable, proper, acceptable

Antonyms: inappropriate, improper, unsuitable

Sentence: Teachers aim to assess the appropriacy of the language used by their students in particular contexts.

  1. Peregrination (noun)

Meaning: a journey, especially a long or meandering one. (सफ़र)

Synonyms: travels, voyages, journey

Sentence: His peregrinations took him to India.
