‘Vocabulary’
- Avert (verb)
Meaning: prevent or ward off (an undesirable occurrence). (टालना)
Synonyms: prevent, stop, avoid
Antonyms: allow, permit
Sentence: He managed to avert the closure of the factory.
- Ovation (noun)
Meaning: a sustained and enthusiastic show of appreciation from an audience, especially by means of applause. (वाहवाही)
Synonyms: applause, handclapping, clapping
Antonyms: booing, hissing, taunt

- Addendum (noun)
Meaning: an item of additional material, typically omissions, added at the end of a book or other publication. (परिशिष्ट)

- Execrable (adj.)
Meaning: extremely bad or unpleasant. (भद्दा)

Meaning: excessive indulgence in sensual pleasures. (ऐयाशी)

- Sullen (adj.)
