‘Vocabulary’
- Souvenir (noun)
Meaning: a thing that is kept as a reminder of a person, place, or event. (यादगार)
Synonyms: memento, keepsake, reminder
Antonyms: forget, fail to remember
Sentence: I bought the ring as a souvenir of Greece.
- Ameliorate (verb)
Meaning: make (something bad or unsatisfactory) better. (सुधारना)
Synonyms: improve, make better, enhance
Antonyms: worsen, damage, spoil

- Candor (noun)
Meaning: the quality of being open and honest in expression; frankness. (स्पष्टवादिता)

- Squabbling (verb)
Meaning: quarrel noisily over a trivial matter. (विवादों)

- Palatial (adj.)
Meaning: resembling a palace in being spacious and splendid. (आलीशान)

- Exquisite (adj.)
Meaning: extremely beautiful and, typically, delicate. (उत्कृष्ट)

- Perceptible (adj.)
Meaning: (especially of a slight movement or change of state) able to be seen or noticed. (प्रत्याक्ष)

Sentence: Her foreign accent was barely perceptible.
- Overt (adj.)
Meaning: done or shown openly; plainly or readily apparent, not secret or hidden. (अपरोक्ष)

Antonyms: unapparent, unclarified, unclear
Sentence: He shows no overt signs of his unhappiness.
- Swoop (verb)
Meaning: (especially of a bird) move rapidly downwards through the air. (झपट्टा मारना)
Synonyms: dive, descend, pounce
Sentence: The barn owl can swoop down on a mouse in total darkness.
- Prophetic (adj.)
Meaning: accurately describing or predicting what will happen in the future. (भविष्यवाणी)
Synonyms: prescient, predictive, prophetical
Sentence: His warnings proved prophetic.
