‘Vocabulary’
- Attenuate (verb)
Meaning: reduce the force, effect, or value of. (कम करना)
Synonyms: weakened, reduced, lessened
Antonyms: enhance, mark up, upgrade
Sentence: Engineers began to attenuate the strength of signals at chosen frequencies
- Impasse (noun)
Meaning: a situation in which no progress is possible, especially because of disagreement; a deadlock. (गतिरोध)
Synonyms: deadlock, dead end, stalemate
Sentence: The political process is at an impasse.
- Slovenly (adj.)
Meaning: (especially of a person or their appearance) messy and dirty. (गंदा)
Synonyms: scruffy, untidy, messy
Antonyms: stainless, clean, tidy

- Seamless (adj.)
Meaning: being entirely without fault or flaw (निरपराध)
Synonyms: absolute, faultless, flawless
Antonyms: censurable, defective, faulty

- Sermon (noun)
Meaning: a talk on a religious or moral subject, especially one given during a church service and based on a passage from the Bible. (उपदेश)
Synonyms: homily, address, speech
Sentence: He delivered the sermon with a fiery passion.
- Etiquette (noun)
Meaning: the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group. (शिष्टाचार)
Synonyms: polite behavior, good manners, manners
Sentence: The couple exhibited poor etiquette when they left the party without saying goodbye to the host and hostess.
- Camaraderie (noun)
Meaning: mutual trust and friendship among people who spend a lot of time together. (भाई-चारा)
Synonyms: friendship, comradeship, fellowship
Antonyms: forlornness, loneliness, lonesomeness
Sentence: The camaraderie among fellow employees made the tedious work just bearable.
- Avaricious (adj.)
Meaning: having or showing extreme greed for wealth or material gain. (लालची)
Synonyms: grasping, acquisitive, covetous
Antonyms: sated, satisfied, controlled
Sentence: An avaricious man is always needy.
- Con (verb)
Meaning: persuade (someone) to do or believe something, typically by use of deception. (ठगना)
Synonyms: swindle, defraud, cheat
Antonyms: undeceive, disclose
Sentence: Tried to con me into thinking that he had won the lottery.
- Clutter (noun)
Meaning: an unorganized collection or mixture of various things (ढेरी)
Synonyms: agglomerate, agglomeration, mixed bag
Sentence: Sorry about the clutter in the kitchen
