1. DRACONIAN (ADJECTIVE): (कठोर)
Synonyms: cruel, oppressive
Antonyms: easy, gentle
Example: Your husband is a draconian man.
2. DAWDLE (VERB): (समय नष्ट करना)
Synonyms: loiter, procrastinate
Antonyms: hasten, hurry
Example :The father warned the son that he will be punished if he dawdled again.
3. PILLAGE (VERB): (लूटना)
Synonyms: ravage, ransack
Antonyms: protect, construct
Example: The robber pillaged the city.
4. NOXIOUS (ADJECTIVE): (हानिकारक)
Synonyms: destructive, harmful
Antonyms: helpful, kind
Example: This is a noxious food.
5. WHITTLE (VERB): (काटना)
Synonyms: wear away, eat away
Example: The shortlist of fifteen was whittled down to five.
6. QUIESCENT (ADJECTIVE): (स्थिर)
Synonyms: inert, latent
Example: Strikes were headed by groups of workers who had previously been quiescent.
7. MOUNT (VERB): (बढ़ना)
Synonyms: grow, rise
Example: The costs mount up when you buy a home.
8. REINSTATE (VERB): (पुनः स्थापित करना)
Synonyms: put back, replace
Example: The union threatened strike action if Owen was not reinstated.
