  1. Enormity (noun)

Meaning: The state or quality of being utterly evil. (दुष्टता)

Synonyms: badness, sinfulness, atrocity

Antonyms: goodness, righteousness, morality

Sentence: The enormity of the crimes committed by the Nazis.

  1. Anecdote (noun)

Meaning: A brief account of something interesting that happened especially to one personally. (किस्सा)

Synonyms: story, tale, incident

Sentence: He departed from the text to tell an anecdote.

  1. Beguile (verb)

Meaning: To attract or delight as if by magic. (बहकाना)

Synonyms: seduce, fascinate, entice

Antonyms: offend, revolt, repel

Sentence: Games are usually used to beguile small children.

  1. Conciliate (verb)

Meaning: To bring to a state free of conflicts, inconsistencies, or differences. (समझाना)

Synonyms: reconcile, coordinate, integrate

Antonyms: disrupt, confuse, disorganize

  1. Disinterested (adj.)

Meaning: Having or showing a lack of interest or concern. (उदासीन)

Synonyms: nonchalant, casual, uninterested

Antonyms: interested, concerned, aware

Sentence: His action was not disinterested because he hoped to make money out of the affair.

  1. Whim (noun)

Meaning: A sudden impulsive and apparently unmotivated idea or action. (बिना सोचे-समझे)

Meaning: A structure that holds up or serves as a foundation for something else. (सहारा देना)

Synonyms: support, shore, pillar

Sentence: It was decided to buttress the crumbling walls.

Meaning: To solemnly or formally reject or go back on (as something formerly adhered to). (त्यागना)

Meaning: Cheerful readiness to do something. (तत्परता)

  1. Laconic (adj.)

Meaning: Marked by the use of few words to convey much information or meaning. (संक्षिप्त)

Synonyms: concise, brief, summary

Antonyms: prolix, verbose, wordy

Sentence: She had a laconic wit.
