  1. Spurious (adj.)

Meaning: not being what it purports to be (जाली)

Synonyms: false, fake, forged

Antonyms: real, genuine. authentic

Sentence: He was arrested in 1979 on spurious corruption charges.

  1. Galvanize (verb)

Meaning: to cause a pleasurable stimulation of the feelings (उत्तेजित करना)

Synonyms: excite, thrill, inspire

Antonyms: bore, weary, discourage

  1. Fulgent (adj.)

Meaning: giving off or reflecting much light (चमकता हुआ)

Meaning: an unorganized collection or mixture of various things (मेल)

Meaning: extremely large or great, especially in scale or degree. (अत्यधिक)

Synonyms: vast, massive, enormous

Antonyms: tiny, minuscule, little

  1. Venerate (verb)

Meaning: regard with great respect; revere. (सम्मानित करना)

Synonyms: reverence, honor, admire

Antonyms: desecrate, blaspheme, insult

Sentence: Mother Teresa is venerated as a saint

  1. Cavalier (adj.)

Meaning: having a feeling of superiority that shows itself in an overbearing attitude (अभिमानपूर्ण)

Synonyms: arrogant, superior, haughty

Antonyms: modest, humble, compliant

Sentence: The Editor takes a cavalier attitude to the concept of fact checking.

  1. Lexical (adj.)

Meaning: relating to the words or vocabulary of a language. (शाब्दिक)

Synonyms: linguistic, verbal, vocabular

Antonyms: nonverbal, nonlinguistic

Meaning: make appropriate return for (a favor, service, or wrongdoing). (लौटाना)

Synonyms: compensate, reimburse, repay

Sentence: The King requited his services with a knighthood.

  1. Beatific (adj.)

Meaning: showing complete happiness (सुखी)

Synonyms: cheerful, smiling, joyful

Antonyms: mournful, sorrowful, doleful

Sentence: The angels in the painting have beatific smiles.
