‘Vocabulary’
- Hubris (noun)
Meaning: excessive pride or self-confidence. (अभिमान)
Synonyms: arrogance, conceit, conceitedness
Antonyms: humbleness, humility, modesty
Sentence: The self-assured hubris among economists was shaken in the late 1980s.
- Feckless (adj.)
Meaning: lacking initiative or strength of character; irresponsible. (अबल)
Synonyms: useless, worthless, incompetent

- Supersede (verb)
Meaning: take the place of (a person or thing previously in authority or use); supplant. (स्थान लेना)

Meaning: the secret planning of something illicit or detrimental. (साज़िश)

Sentence: The cabinet was a nest of intrigue.
- Spellbind (verb)
Meaning: hold the complete attention of (someone) as though by magic; fascinate. (मोहित करना)
Synonyms: fascinating, enthralling, entrancing
Antonyms: boring, dull

- Pugnacious (adj.)
Meaning: eager or quick to argue, quarrel, or fight. (झगड़ालू)

- Fervent (adj.)
Meaning: having or displaying a passionate intensity. (उत्कट)

- Piety (noun)
Meaning: the quality of being religious or reverent. (धर्मनिष्ठा)

- Ratify (verb)
Meaning: sign or give formal consent to (a treaty, contract, or agreement), making it officially valid. (पुष्टि करना)
Synonyms: confirm, approve, sanction
Antonyms: deny, disallow, disapprove
Sentence: All the members have voted to ratify the treaty.
